The Reckless Hour plot
"Her Love Lived an Hour- Her Penalty Lasted a Life Time!"
Clothing model Margaret Nichols meets rich young Allen Crane at the store where she works. Allen immediately invites her to dinner. She declines, expecting that he probably won't marry a working-class woman. Allen follows Margaret to her apartment in Jersey City, where she lives with her absent-minded father Walter, her mother Harriet and her sister Myrtle. Harriet is upset because she feels her daughters can't find the right kind of men in Jersey City. When Allen wants to take Margaret out, she is relieved.
