The Rainbow Trail plot

Lassiter, Jane Withersteen and the orphaned girl Fay Larkin find themselves in a remote valley. John Shefford goes looking for them. Before he can find them, the Mormon Waggoner manages to reach the valley. He takes Fay to a Mormon settlement, where he holds several women captive. When Shefford finds her, they fall in love. They go to the valley together to rescue Lassiter and Jane.
