The Radicals plot

"They were centuries ahead of their time... and paid a terrible price for it."

This film is set in 1525, when Michael and Margaretha Sattler withdrew from the existing state church. They join the Anabaptists, who want the church back in its original state, as Christianity was in the initial situation. However, their new teachings are seen as hostile to the state and the government is taking increasingly harsh measures to crush their movement.
