The Power of the Press plot

Reporter Clem Rogers (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.) wants nothing more than to make a big break for once with an exclusive story. Unfortunately, he stumbles upon a major scandal involving his beloved Jane Atwill (Jobyna Ralston). Jane, the daughter of mayoral candidate Atwill (Edwards Davis), is falsely accused of murder and Clem tries to prove Jane's innocence. They learn that there is a connection between the district attorney's murder and the ambitions of Jane's father's political opponent.
