The Playroom plot

"It's 1975. Do you know where your parents are?"

1975. Four kids find themselves in their attic hideout making up a fantastic story while their parents have their own drunken party downstairs. The story of the children's lives intertwines with the story they make up. Until the two stories collide and the delicate family structure collapses. The story is set through the eyes of Maggie Cantwell, a rambunctious teenager who turns reality into a game.
