The Outsider plot
In 1973 the young American of Irish descent Wasson arrives in Dublin. Not wanting to betray his roots, about which his grandfather Hayden has told much, he is applying as a candidate for the IRA. He is put to the test in the kidnapping, trial and execution of a unionist judge. However, the IRA wants to play a sinister game with the young idealist.
