The Last American Hero plot

Junior Jackson's father owns an illegal distillery and Junior takes the alcohol away at night. He sometimes has to do breakneck tricks to avoid police checks. One day his father is arrested and sentenced to a year in prison. Junior now has to provide an income and he takes part in a race with a car he built himself. He wins this one and earns a large sum of money. But things don't go smoothly: his relationship with Marge becomes a disappointment and he soon realizes that he cannot continue to achieve success with a self-made car. He will have to submit to the laws of the world.
