The Home Maker plot

A man's life seems to be falling apart. Bored with his job, he is passed over for a promotion and when the pressure becomes too much, he tries to commit suicide. However, he fails and only succeeds in paralyzing himself instead of committing suicide. Forced to stay home, he finds the role of "househusband" enjoyable until his wife takes a low-paying job at his old company and quickly climbs the corporate ladder.
