The Great Houdini plot

"A supernatural man. A supernatural love."

Harry Houdini is originally a Jewish immigrant son from the Czech Republic named Erich Weiss. His father dies young and his bond with his mother becomes very strong. His mother therefore finds it difficult when he marries Bess, partly because he is a Catholic. When Erich Weiss makes a name for himself as Houdini, he quickly befriends Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It turns out to be a friendship that can't last forever...
