The Great Darkened Days plot
During the Second World War, Philippe seeks refuge in America. He participates in competitions in which he impersonates Charlie Chaplin. While on his way home, he meets several people who are prone to destruction in these chaotic times. One of these people is Helen who lives with her so-called dog Rosie.
