The Fold plot
Ten months after her daughter's death, priest Rebecca Ashton moves to Cornwall in an attempt to come to terms with the loss. One day she finds the Bulgarian girl Radka sleeping in her church. Her maternal instinct prompts her to take care of the girl. Rebecca takes over the English classes at Radka's local St. Piran community center and the two bond. When Radka becomes more and more dependent on Rebecca, the motivation to help her wanes. But the thought of her dead daughter makes her offer to become Radka's guardian. However, she fails to mention that she has another daughter, Eloise.
