The Field plot

"It Owns Him...It Possesses Him...And It Could Even Destroy Him"

Rich Yank (Berenger) goes in the mid-1920s in the Irish Carraighthomond in search of 'his roots' and immediately takes the opportunity to buy some interesting plots of land. A local tenant farmer (Harris) refuses to give up his 'heritage' and tells him the guard: "You went to America to line your pockets. Do you think you can now buy the land that abandoned you?"
