The Exiles plot

Henry Halcombe is a prosecutor who manages to put murder suspect Alice Carroll behind bars. The problem is that Alice is innocent. She manages to escape and leaves for Tangier, Morocco. There she falls into the clutches of the evil gambler Wilhelm von Linke. Meanwhile, Halcombe has become convinced of Alice's innocence and tries to track her down.
