The Come On plot
"Unscrupulous con woman gets involved in murder."
In Mexico, the hapless drifter Dave Arnold went to the beach to go fishing with his boat "Lucky Lady". There he falls in love with a woman, Rita, whom he spied on the beach. Rita urges him to kill her domineering husband Harold King. However, Dave refuses, but does not leave Rita. A furious Harold learns about Rita's plans and fakes his death to land his wife in jail for the fake murder. Corrupt detective McGonigle clears Rita's name and then blackmails her with her affair with Dave. Rita ends the blackmail by killing McGonigle, and is shocked to learn that her husband is still alive.
