The Brothers plot
"The Worthy Scottish Successor to Our Great Hit - "I Know Where I'm Going!""
The McFarishes and the Macraes have been enemies for life. Both families live on a remote island, which is part of the 'Western Isles' near Scotland. Mary Lawson, a Scottish orphan raised in a convent, arrives on the island on the weekly steamboat. Mary goes to work as a domestic worker for the Macraes. Mary is warned not to have any contact with the McFarish family. But Mary soon feels lonely on the island. She befriends Will McFarish, which leads to tragic consequences.
