The Bong Connection plot

Apu is a Bengali who has lived all his life in Kolkata, India, has an IT job, but would rather go to America. Then he gets the chance; he leaves and promises his beloved Sheela that he will come and pick her up soon. Andy is a second-generation Bengali living in New York, who dreams of becoming a musician in the film world, but leaves for Kolkata. There he meets Sheela and they fall in love. In New York, Apu befriends Rita, whose parents want them to get married.
