The Blue Angel plot

"What God made beautiful... temptation made irresistible!"

Professor Immanuel Rath (Curd Jürgens) discovers photographs of Lola-Lola (May Britt) in the possession of his students. He therefore visits the café where Lola-Lola often performs to see if his students can also be found there. When Professor Rath indeed discovers two of his students, he tries to catch them to punish them for their frivolous behavior. However, the poor professor runs into Lola-Lola and the next day his presence in the cafe and his meeting of Lola-Lola is known to everyone, including the school board.
