The Alaskan plot
"Here is a picture you'll be talking about for the rest of the season. Estelle Taylor is the girl, and others prominent in the supporting cast are Frank Campeau, John Sainpolis and Charles Ogle."
While trying to preserve Alaska's natural beauty and halt the influx of industry, Father Holt is murdered. Son Alan travels to Washington in an attempt to stop John Graham's practices, but Alan finds no response from the government. On his return journey, he meets Mary Standish and her guardian Rossland, an accomplice of Graham. She later reveals that she is married to Graham and that he is abusing her. Graham demands that Alan leave his wife alone, but Alan refuses. A confrontation is inevitable.
