That Forsyte Woman plot
"This is the story of that Forsyte woman and the men who were such fools about her."
By 1900, the Forsyte family was among the wealthiest in the British Empire, moving into all of London's leading salons. Proud and arrogant Soames Forsyte (Errol Flynn) marries the beautiful piano teacher Garson, but as the years of her marriage roll by, she becomes frustrated with Soames' well-intentioned dominance, which leads to Victorian adultery. She sets her eye on her niece June's betrothed; Philip Bosinney.
