Terre Battue plot
In a period of several months, Jérôme has to face all possible setbacks. After his dismissal, he tries to start a chain of stores and loses his wife. The only thing Jérôme can rely on is his 11-year-old son Ugo, a gifted tennis player. Ugo, for his part, witnesses all the failures and humiliations that befell his father, but nevertheless clings to his dream of becoming a great champion.
