Tempos de Paz plot
April 18, 1945. World War II has come to an end in Europe but technically Brazil is still at war. A customs officer, a former 'interrogator' of President Vargas' political police and a Polish ex-actor who survived the horror of war and is suspected of being a Nazi refugee meet in Rio de Janeiro in an office of the immigration service. The film portrays a critical period in Brazilian history in which fighting for your life is central.
