Telegrafisten plot
It is 1903 in a small town in Norway. Ove Rolandsen wants to move forward in life and have a little fun at the same time. He wants to marry Elise, the daughter of the local factory owner. She likes him too, but there are two problems: She's already engaged to a business associate of her father's and Ove doesn't have much money. So Ove throws himself into his second love: invention. He thinks he should be able to walk in with that.
