Taxiphone: El Mektoub plot

Oliver and Elena are a young couple from Switzerland who travel across the Sahara. Suddenly their truck breaks down and they are forced to stay in the desert village of Tar. Daily life in the village revolves around a small shop called 'Taxi Phone', owned by Sid. It is the only place in the area where people can call, send emails or find guides. Oliver and Elena meet many young tourists and other people. Oliver finds it very difficult to adapt to the desert and wants to get out of it as soon as possible, but Elena becomes more and more fascinated by the beautiful world in which she finds herself.
