Tarnish plot
All his life, Adolph Tevis has been a womanizer. He has spent his wife's fortune. For the most part, that has gone up to other women. As a result, his daughter Letitia now has to go to work. But that's not such a bad thing, because she falls in love with her handsome employer Emmet Carr. However, Emmet also has a past as a womanizer, including with the manicure Nettie Dark. Letitia doesn't realize that, though.
