Susanna van Biljon plot

"Live Your Dream"

Rebecca Dreyer lives in a small village in the Karoo. She dreams of leaving the village and her teaching mother behind and becoming a professional singer. One evening she decides to go to Johannesburg and try her luck there. When she can't find an agent, she returns to her mother rejected. Her boss tells about a singing competition in a national magazine and persuades her to enter. If she excels there, she'll get an agent, but he's certainly not nice.
