Sul Ponte dei Sospiri plot
The young Count Folengo, nicknamed "Captain Vessillo", is invited to Venice by his uncle, the Grand Inquisitor, who wants him to marry the daughter of a wealthy banker. He is going to visit the girl. However, he falls in love with her girlfriend, Bianca. The young woman has just discovered a few days before that she is the daughter of Marco Spada, a man who is in prison on charges of murdering his wife. But it turns out that Marco is innocent...
