Strawberry Roan plot

Farmer Chris Lowe meets chorister Molly and falls in love with her. Despite being a real city girl, she accepts his marriage proposal and goes to live on the farm after the wedding. Chris realizes that this transition will be difficult for Molly. In an effort to get her used to farm life, he buys her a calf to care for. Unfortunately, Molly finds adjusting to rural life extremely difficult and does not calm down. Failing to integrate into the local community, she begins to feel that she has made a big mistake.
