Great movie with quite a bit of suspense. Even though as a viewer you already know who the perpetrator is from the first moment, it is not boring.

Just look good. Nothing more or less.

Controversial drama film from Dutch soil. Cinematography is often dark because the scenes take place in the evening or at night. Music well and appropriately chosen. Cast not very special. Alternation between present and past with flashbacks was good.

Indeed, not much was done after the rape. In reality it often is. The police are sometimes more concerned with liquidation cases than with crimes against 'ordinary' citizens. Understandably, the girls were going to set something up themselves. At first it is unclear who it is, but gradually a number of potential perpetrators drop out. It is highly debatable whether you can and should take the law into your own hands. As I mentioned before, our Social Studies teacher had a wise saying: the degree of civilization can be measured by the way civilized people treat less civilized people. The ending with the psychologist was revealing. If you have a conscience, then the truth will eventually gnaw at you.....

I have to say that I think it's a really exciting movie. I got into it easily and I was never bored. The ending with the psychologist surprised me, and I didn't quickly realize who the perpetrator was, only the fact that they did not immediately identify the correct perpetrator was predictable. I think the acting is fine, only the perpetrator in question, played by Jeroen Spitzenberger, is too sneaky if it is known that he is the perpetrator. A 7. 3.5*
