However, I don't think it's an atypical choice for Stallone at all. (who was not yet established as an action hero in 1983) With Rocky's triumphant underdog charm, Stallone could have made a strong sequel to this, but the film falls short in all areas. It lacks the depth, character development and dazzling cinematography of Saturday Night Fever.

5.0 I don't understand the low rating Another wonderful dance film by the ultra cool Mr John Travolta..No one can walk like our Johnny, what a cool appearance. And Stallone was directed, what you could see. to see him in cameo for a moment. attentive viewers his brother Frank also played along. And Finola Hughes was so hot, too bad she was so bitchy. Years ago there was talk of another sequel, would have loved to see this.

Reasonable film about a professional dancer whose career just doesn't get off the ground. Although a sequel to Saturday Night Fever, this is a completely different movie. A meager story with a simple love triangle. The music, the clothes and the haircuts all scream '80s and while it's often pretty wrong, it's fun to watch. The many dance scenes are well portrayed with the long finale as the icing on the cake.
