"Said Mahran. Born in Italy. Expelled."

Saïd, an ambitious, self-confident young man of Algerian parents, was born and raised in Florence. When his father is fired, the family's residence permit is suddenly no longer extended after 30 years and his world collapses. They are forced to 'return' to Algeria, where Saïd and his brother have never set foot. Driven by the absurdity and painfulness of the situation, Saïd faces a grave dilemma: to stay in Italy illegally, his homeland now denying him harshly, or head over heels for Algeria with his father to help him build a new life in the country. that he left 30 years ago.
