Souvenir plot

Ernst (Christopher Plummer) is a grocer in America, but had to serve as a young German soldier in World War II forty years before. When he goes to visit his daughter Tina (Catherine Hicks), who lives in Paris, he is confronted with his past and that yields some dramatic and romantic memories of the war.
