Sønner av Norge plot
Set in 1979, the film tells the story of the relationship between thirteen-year-old Nikolaj and his free-thinking hippie father Magnus. Nikolaj lives with his parents in an exuberant and alternative atmosphere - until his mother dies in a traffic accident. His father wallows in self-pity and Nikolai is left to his own devices during the grieving process. Assigned to himself, he flees into the local punk scene, cheered loudly by his father, who appreciates his son's rebellious tendencies. And that is exactly where the shoe pinches: how can an adolescent rebel against a father who is himself a rebel and who lives an unconventional lifestyle?
