Sommerwellen plot

Shipbuilder Maren is a single mother. When it turns out that her uncle is dying, she goes there with her son Niklas. Due to an old problem, Maren and her uncle Georg have not seen each other for years and he wants to close it properly. Maren falls in love with Georg's doctor and a world opens up for Niklas: he learns more and more about his deceased father, his mysterious uncle and his own mother.
