Silent Waters plot

Bosnia and Herzegovina, April 1992. The Bosnian Amir, Nada and their daughter Lejla are good friends with their Bosnian Serb neighbors. On Lejla's birthday they come over for dinner. That evening the good atmosphere suddenly changes due to a tense conversation about politics. Lejla also quickly discovers what it means to belong to a certain ethnicity. In the weeks that follow, tensions rise to dangerous levels.
