Sierra Leone plot

After trying his luck in the African country of Sierra Leone, West German worker Fred (Christian Redl) returns to his homeland. Operating from a dreary hotel in a port area, he finds that it is no longer possible to resume relations with his (ex-)wife and colleagues in the metal industry. With all his money, happiness cannot be bought. Finally, he starts a ramble through the Federal Republic with a girl from the hotel.
