Short Term 12 plot

"A film about kids and the grown-ups who hit them."

Denim is the supervisor of a residential facility with 15 children who have all been affected in unimaginable ways by child abuse and neglect. Fights and eruptions take place on a daily basis and Denim knows how to deal with them. But as his personal life clashes with work, he begins to realize he's no better off than the kids he's trying to help.
