Shiosai plot

The lonely Shinji meets the beautiful pearl diver Hatsue on the beach and the two fall in love. But Shinji has a rival for Hatsue's affection, Yasuo. Yasuo spreads nasty gossip about Shinji, and Hatsue's father forbids her from seeing him. When the Shinji saves the lives of passengers on a boat owned by Hatsue's father, his happiness begins to turn into love...
