"Inspired by True Events"

After the horrific smuggling of a shipment of young girls destined for the sex industry in Thailand goes horribly wrong, an American lawyer searches for witnesses to the drama. That brings him to “The Pearl”, a club in Bangkok that is popular among sex tourists. There he meets a young prostitute, known locally only as “Number 18”. The lawyer tries to gain the young girl's trust so that she is prepared to testify against the owner of the sex club.
