During the Second Sino-Japanese War, pilot Peter Roma is wounded. He possesses a valuable amulet and manages to pass it on to his sister, Irene, before it falls into the hands of Russian agent Igor Sargoza. Irene is ordered to contact Howard Barclay as quickly as possible and board a boat to America. But Sargoza quickly pursues her. However, she receives help from journalist Johnny McGinty, who unwittingly becomes involved in this dangerous mission.
