Serious Charge plot
Reverend Howard Phillips is new to the small town of Bellington and wants to reach out to the youth. The daughter of the previous pastor, Hester Peters, doesn't want to grow old alone and sees something in Howard. However, he tells her that he is not interested in her. After the vicar confronts a boy about something he believes was wrong, the boy falsely accuses Howard of sexual advances.
