Sergent X plot

Michel, an adventurer, has to pay his gambling debts and carries out a risky assignment at the border of the Sahara in which he is believed to have died. Then he discovers that his pregnant girlfriend Françoise has married someone else and he joins the Foreign Legion. He meets the couple again during oil drilling in the Sahara, but disappears from their lives after a heroic extinguishing of an oil fire.
