Semana Santa plot
The widow Dali and her eight-year-old son Pepe go on vacation to Acapulco with Dali's boyfriend, Chavez. Instead of bringing them closer together, their beach vacation brings out things in each of them that threaten to tear this family apart. As she tries to be both a loving mother and a caring partner, her inner doubts and silent sadness push her out of both roles. Pepe, who does not trust the new relative and does not yet know how to divide his mother's attention, decides to spend his time as he pleases.
