Secretos del Corazón plot
Javi is nine years old and during the school year lives with his older brother Juan in the city with his aunts Rosa and Maria. Juan has told Javi that a passionate murder had taken place in the abandoned house on the outskirts of town and that, if you listen carefully, you can still hear the dead screaming in the basement as they want to free themselves from their secrets of the heart. Together with his friend Carlos, Javi investigates, but when they do hear voices, they cannot understand them and they return empty-handed. During the Easter holidays, Juan and Javi go to their parental home in the mountains. There Juan tells him that in the 'forbidden' room you can hear his dead father's voice, just like in the abandoned house. Javi doesn't believe him at first, but his curiosity is aroused and one night he sneaks secretly into the room in question.
