Just saw this movie and I'm wondering why I watched until the end. What a mess! The plot is obvious from the very beginning, the acting is subpar, and the screenplay is anything but believable. The main character, Jennifer, evoked absolutely no sympathy in me, and the detective was completely underdeveloped—his character had the depth of a toddler pool. In my opinion, this movie falls into the category of "Netflix needed some more fleshing out." Definitely not recommended. Half a point for the occasional cool wide shots of Californian nature.

This is truly awful. I've (finally) created an account to inform people how bad this film is. I'm surprised Netflix dares to put its name to this.

As mentioned, Peter Sullivan has a long list of Christmas films to his name, and that's certainly reflected in this film's cinematography. There was no tension to be found, and the performances from both Brenda Song and Mike Vogel are on par with As the World Turns (no offense).
When Russell's "atrocities" came to light (murdered parents), I couldn't help but chuckle because it was so inappropriate.

My girlfriend had to wake me up several times around the 80-minute mark. That says something to me. We're also currently in the middle of a divorce because she insisted I watch this movie with her; something I didn't appreciate.

By the way, don't check the Wikipedia for this film because the clue is in the cast list.

That was really bad. Extremely predictable and nonsensical with a wafer-thin plot. Of course, it's immediately clear that the husband isn't the husband. In the real world, the police ignore you due to lack of time when you report being stalked, but that's not a problem here, because the detective gets stuck into a case without any clear leads. A missing daughter has to explain his involvement, but that's not convincing. The mediocre acting completes the picture of a lousy film. I really have nothing positive to say about this film. 0.5*.
