Schicksalsspiel plot
Roland (Niels-Bruno Schmidt) is a fan of the FC St. Pauli football team. He follows his team to the end of the world. The girl Conny (Nicolette Krebitz) comes from Rosstock and is a fan of the former East German Hansa Rosstock. At a home game in Rosstock, the two meet and for the first time in their lives, football comes into the background. The two are madly in love with each other, but her hot-tempered brother Lalla (Jürgen Vogel) throws a spanner in the works. He and his gang of hooligans can't allow anyone from the "enemy camp" to approach one of "their" girls...
