Russkiy Vopros plot
Harold Smith, an American journalist, has gone to Moscow to see for himself exactly how things are going in the Soviet Union. He is impressed by the regime. Back in the US, he is offered a job by a publisher named MacFerson. This newspaper magnate is only interested in selling newspapers, whether it be truth or lies. He asks Smith to write a book about the Soviet Union, for a lot of money, but the Soviets must be portrayed as warmongers.
