Rouget le Braconnier plot

Louis Rouget is, in 1850, a wandering poacher. He is caught in the act and is fined heavily. To redeem this he must continue poaching: the well-known vicious circle. He is caught again, but now he opens fire on two police officers. He is sentenced to death in absentia because he is hiding. But unfortunately for him, a jealous young woman betrays him. In the meantime, this dark type, despite itself, has become a symbol of the resistance against Napoleon II.
