Rock the Casbah plot
"A comedy. About a tragedy."
It is summer in Tangier. A family gathers in the family home three days after the father's death, to share the memories and their loss according to Islamic tradition. They therefore have to leave the beach, exchange their bathing suits for a djellaba and make sure that everything has the look of a funeral. The agitation is at its peak because this man has left nothing but women behind. Everything changes with the arrival of Sofia, the youngest daughter who has moved elsewhere.
