Rindu Kami Padamu plot

During the Islamic Lebaran festival, we follow the everyday family life of some residents of a small market square in Jakarta. The arrival of a beautiful young woman in search of her mother's prayer mat brings some ripples to an otherwise easygoing life. For example, there is a young duck egg seller who rebels against his boss by smashing and stealing the precious eggs. And the young men who are building the dome of the mosque become too distracted for the liking of the elderly. When some people return to the countryside because of poverty, the government threatens to demolish the houses in the market square for renovation.
