Edna McCauley miraculously survives a car accident that kills her husband. She comes to after a near-death experience and ends up in a wheelchair. Edna decides to rehabilitate with her grandmother who lives in an environment where people are very religious. When Edna accidentally discovers that she now has healing abilities, she decides to use them to help people.
